On April 5th, beggins the period for filing the income tax declaration , which, like every year, will end on June 30th.

The draft can be requested either by postal mail or through the website of the Agencia Tributaria in Renta Web. If you prefer to go in person to get help with your draft, you cannot make an appointment until May 4th.

This year there is a new release, because for the first time in 29 years, the program Padre it’s been removed. The perfect fusion between the simplicity of the draft and all the options that we had in Padre, makes Renta Web the perfect tool. The identification procedure will be the same, internal code,  electronic ID or reference number.

If you own a rented home, we remind you that you must declare those incomes, the fines of Hacienda could exceed 50% of the undeclared amounts.

Warnning: if you receive an email with your income statement, do not give away any bank details, it could be an attempted of fraud. Here are some tips to avoid them.
